AscentialTest Runtime is meant to run only tests, on another machine that the machine running AscentialTest Enterprise:

• Each runtime is controlled by AscentialTest Enterprise.
  
  
• You can deploy several runtimes, and centralize results with AscentialTest Enterprise for comprehensive reports.
  
  
• You can deploy Runtime to a remote site/premise, as long as there a 2-way TCP/IP communication between Enterprise and Runtime.
  Otherwise, each site needs at least 1 copy of AscentialTest Enterprise to run the tests,
  and send the DB with the results back to a central location if needed.
