Can I request a license key for our development environment through the Visual Guard Console?The license will always be requested through VG console. You enter the console – connect to your repository – Action – request license key
if we exceed the number of users our license allows, how quickly can we purchase additional licensing to allow for more users to be managed?It mainly depends on the time you will need to issue a PO or process an on-line payment by credit-card. On our end, you can expect the delivery of a key 24 hours max after we get the corresponding request (week-days only).

We have 3 environments for developing in-house applications. Development, Test, and Production. If we wanted to use an enterprise version of visual guard and needed to have separate environments would we be required to purchase 3 copies or just a single copy we could use in all 3 database environments? Yes. You must purchase 3 copies as a license is linked to one repository. The recommended environment is to get at least 3 environments/repositories. Feel free to contact us if you need more details.
If I have a user that leaves the company I need to be able to reassign the seat. How can I do that ?You just delete the user in Visual Guard .Net console or API. For example in the console, select the user you want to delete, right click and select delete. Then you can create a new user.
Do we need to request one key per repository ?Yes you need to request one key per repository. When the repository is created, you need to request the key and indicate the number of users for this repository.This should match the number of users that you have purchased.
